In-game name: Myriad

Class and spec: Priest - Healing spec (I generally use one of two different specs when raiding depending on what is needed at the time either and improved spirit spec or a circle of healing spec)

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?

I am applying to bloodpack mainly because of the good things i have heard about the good social environment of the guild from squired and brodie, this to me is the the most important aspect of the game. As for raiding you are about the same level i reached with DoT Com and seem to be doing well from what i have seen on the Anachronos.eu forums. I have decided against applying to cold logic and rebirth as thier raid schedules are too much for me plus i want to work for the boss kills and not be carried through.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?

Yep Both Squired and Brodie were with me during my time at DoT Com. I have also remember doing instances with Rhiannon, Galbatorix and Firefightern whether they remember me is another thing though Wink

What previous guilds have you been in, and why are you planning to/have you left your last guild?

OK as you might have guessed by now my last Guild was DoT Com which i left tonight, the first reason why i left is because the guild has reached a point where it can no longer raid effectively and secondly because the great atmosphere that the guild once had is gone. I originally was going to make this application about a week ago but after speaking to the guild master (Guerrilla) i decided to stay and help try and hold the thing together in whatever way i could, however tonight the situation has taken a turn for the worse making the situation pretty much irrepairable.

Tell us a bit about your history and experiences in WoW. How long have you been playing? Why do you like playing your chosen class and spec? What have you done up to this point in the game?

My first character was a rogue which i started around the time of the AQ patch on the Azjol Nerub server, I Leveled this to 60 and then got fairly bored of it as at the time it was very hard to get groups because there were so many rogues on the server, so then i started my priest. i leveled it up to level 60 just in time for the burning crusade expansion at which point i took advantage of the free transfer to Anachronos. When i first arrived here i was shadow spec but as i found myself doing Pugs as the healer rather than dps i switched to a improved spirit heal spec. shortly after i joined a guild called Void which held together for about 3 or 4 months which eventually fell apart due to the GM transferring off to another server. After that i ended up bouncing around a few guilds all of which failed for one reason or another until i ended up in DoT Com shortly after they had formed from the Sunshine Club in october 2007

As for why i like my class and my spec, healing is fun and as a priest its not about spamming the same button over and over again as there are a wide range of healing spells suited to different situations. some of my most fun momments have been in Pugs when someone has done something really stupid and pulled half the room its great fun trying to keep people alive through things like that Smile

Raiding

How interested are you in PvE raiding?

Raiding is something that i enjoy doing as its when you really get to know the people you are with in a guild, i would not se myself as a hardcore raider but would be more than willing to attend 2-3 raids a week if needed

How much experience do you have with PvE content in the game? (e.g. what raids have you taken part in, do you do heroics etc.)

Pre BC

ZG - Up to the snake boss with the rogue
AQ20 - Up to Kurinaxx (or however its spelt) on the rogue

BC

KZ - Clear
ZA - Clear
Grulls - Clear
SSC - Clear
TK - Clear
MH - Clear
BT - Up to RoS

Are you available during our raid times? Can you make all days or only some?

Yes i can be available for all of your raid times although i would not like to raid 4 times a week, preferably 2 or 3
im not fussy about raid slots either just willing to help out when needed

What PvE-related add-ons do you use?

Xperl, Deadly boss mods and Decursive, thats pretty much it

We're a fairly social guild, not just logging on for raid times and then disappearing for the rest of the week. How would/do you fill your playing time when not raiding?

Either soloing on my rogue if im in need of money or pots as its my source of mana pots or doing 10 mans or five mans if a healer is needed, if its a saturday then probably while getting drunk at the same time Smile

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, buff food, oils, and ofc repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses?

Yep my rogue supports my addiction to mana potions and flasks, while my priest does the enchanting all other things i buy if needed.

My char also has a full set of shadow res gear so i dont need hearts of darkness, i can make the cloak and full cloth sets.

Additional things to add?

My name is Rob and im English although i live in Paris, Im 28 years old and i work within the games industry doing design work (NOT for Blizzard) most of my spare time at the momment outside of WoW is dedicated to learning french as im still pretty shit at it although ive got ordering chinese food down pretty well now. At the momment im visiting my parents so i wont be around much until monday or late sunday night.

I know you are full at the momment but i thought i would give it a go, thanks for reading the app.

Massive vouch from me, a great player, really well geared, one of the best priests I have ever raided with. Most importantly a very good mate. If we can squeeze another priest in Rob is your man Smile

Good luck in getting in mate Smile

Hey Myriad,
Really nice application, its a shame that im going to have to decline it as we currently have a fair few raiding priests competing for spots at the moment.
As i've said, sorry to hear about DoT Com and goodluck elsewhere.

Finde.

Edit: Accepted at a later date.
