In-game name: Risen
Class and spec: Warlock, Affliction 42/8/11

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?
I have several friends in Bloodpack, and I've raided with you guys on a couple of occasions - loved the atmosphere, that of progress-but-casual. I've also raided upto a similar level to what Bloodpack are currently at, and your raiding schedule suits me perfectly. I'd much rather join a nice relaxed guild progressing through T6 content at its own rate, than a hardcore guild that has cleared everything, and raids so much it leaves no time for a social life.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?
Well, way back when I knew Fumo, and Rhiannon (as Ericka). As for vouches, I also know Findecano, Coly/Pear/Lighter, Kareha, and have grouped with several others on a few occasions like Naralie, Deatharon, Ochayethamoo.

What previous guilds have you been in, and why are you planning to/have you left your last guild?
I'm currently in Made, and as much as I love it there and will be sad to leave, the guild itself is basically dead - most of the key founding members left, and the guold has just gone further and further downhill, with no raids for the last 2 months due to the "summer break". However, I personally cannot see Made coming back from the break, so I believe its time for me to move on to pastures new.
Prior to Made, was in a failed raiding guild called Onslaught, and before that I attempted my own raiding guild, Dystopia, which was set up around the same time as Bloodpack, from the same memberbase if I remember rightly.

Tell us a bit about your history and experiences in WoW. How long have you been playing? Why do you like playing your chosen class and spec? What have you done up to this point in the game?
Pre-TBC I played a Warrior, tanking almost all of the raids back then. It was fun, but for me it was also a bit too stressful, which was the reason I quit playing for a while - I was in a reasonably hardcore raiding guild on Eonar back then, so didn't have much free time. So, stopped playing for a few months, came back after the launch of TBC as a Paladin firstly (original, I know, a Blood Elf Paladin) and then my Warlock. Turns out, Locks are my favourite class - I just love being able to take on numerous mobs, deal out massive amounts of damage, and come out the other side laughing. Plus I swear, Locks are the only class that can come out of a solo fight with more HP and Mana than they went in with!

Raiding

How interested are you in PvE raiding?
I love it - for me, there's no greater sense of satisfaction than the first kill on a boss you've been trying to down for ages.

How much experience do you have with PvE content in the game? (e.g. what raids have you taken part in, do you do heroics etc.)
Pre-TBC, tanked Zul'Gurub, Molten Core, AQ20/40 and Onyxia, and several bosses in Naxxramas. Post TBC I've cleared Karazhan, Gruul's, Magtheridon's, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep: The Eye and Mount Hyjal. I believe Made set a record in MH, as we cleared it within 7 days of first entering it. Also, I've cleared everything upto and including Reliquary of Souls in Black Temple. Heroics - I love 'em. A lot of my gear is badge gear, and I do as many as possible, sometimes doing 4-5 on a Saturday or Sunday.

Are you available during our raid times? Can you make all days or only some?
Yes, I'm available during all of them. I work a job with very flexible hours Mon-Fri, so its not a problem for me - basically, I decide what time I want to go home.

What PvE-related add-ons do you use?
Omen, Bigwigs, Quartz, Recount.

We're a fairly social guild, not just logging on for raid times and then disappearing for the rest of the week. How would/do you fill your playing time when not raiding?
Doing Heroics, generally chatting, helping out other guild members, or getting around to levelling some of my somewhat dusty alts.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, buff food, oils, and ofc repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses?
Yes, not a problem at all - my usual consumable set up for a raid is 2x Flask of Pure Death, 1 Superior Wizard Oil, and a stack of Blackened Basilisk. I farm as much of it as I can, and for the rest I have a steady enough cash flow that buying them at the AH is a non-issue.

Additional things to add?
Little bit about me - I live in Cardiff, Wales, work for the Welsh Government, live with my girlfriend, love WoW and gaming in general, aswell as various other stuff such as travelling, going out, all the usual things. If you've got any questions, give me a shout ingame.

Risen.

Ignore the little error about Fumo setting up Bloodpack, I got him confused with Kareha (sorry Kar). Fumo set up another guild around the same time as I did Dystopia, Carpe Jugulum, which shared the same memberbase as Dystopia did.

Big big thumbs up from me, Risen is a really great guy and a great lock. However, as much as I'd like to take credit I didn't setup Bloodpack, was a guy called Baco.
