[Accepted?]Warrior / Priest Application Empty [Accepted?]Warrior / Priest Application

Post  Echò. Sun Sep 21 2008, 02:59

Greetings!
This is just more or less a social application till the upcoming expansion, WotLK, hits the market, where I would like to become a full time raid-member.
IF your raid roster already is full, I would still like to stay as a social member. If I get accepted in the first place of course.

As the headline says, I can raid with a priest or a warrior, and all specs within those two classes as I find them all awesome and funny to play. Smile

In-game name: Echò is my warrior, Skeptisk is my priest.
Class and spec: Echò is protection atm just to help out a few friends. Skeptisk is discipline - PvP ftw.
Always willing to help out with a heroic or two.
Armory link: Not that this matters, since it's a social application, but I'll do it anyway.
Code:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Anachronos&n=Ech%C3%B2
Code:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Anachronos&n=Skeptisk
- Skeptisk is on 69, only a bar from 70. Just doing some PvP to get the marks I need. PvPing on 70 with 0 resilience isn't much fun.

[Chris tipsed me about doing it like this, the link wouldn't show without it :p]

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?
I've always wanted to join since Squired joined you.
He is one of my few best friends ingame who I've really enjoyed raiding with, talking with and get to know better.

Squired says he really likes it in there, wich means I would too.
You're a really good raiding guild according to him. You're not too serious, having a laugh now and then, not giving up after loads of wiping. This is what I would like at 80, have something to look forward to.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?
Squired, Ygthor, Christov, Bloodyhoof, Myriad, Ilidrail, practically any ex DoT Commers.
Did the brewfest boss in BRD yesterday with Musgoso, Ilidrail, Kareha and Christov too :p

Dont know if they'll vouch for me as they barely know me, but I've atleast played with them. Smile

What previous guilds have you been in, and why are you planning to/have you left your last guild?

Evolution - First guild on my warrior, was in there from 15 - 70. Had a look in Karazhan, but with no success. Guild disbandeddue to no raiding. Atleast one good thing happened tho, met Christov <3

Body Count - Joined after Evolution, did ok, cleared T4. Disbanded because of lack of numbers over a long period.

Oblivious - Had a look on T5 level, left because Body Count was reforming.

Body Count v2 - Again, cleared T4. But at this time, I was more or less sick of T4 after doing it for months without any progress at all. At this point, Christov told me that DoT Com were recruiting a melee DPS, so I tried and got in. <3

DoT Com - This was my best guild I've ever been in. Sadly enough, a few key members left and forced us to go back to T5 if we wanted our numbers back up. Others didn't like this and stopped raiding, wich then caused a disband.

Imperium - Christov's attempt to keep some of the DoT Commers together, but we didn't get enough for doing 25mans, so people started to leave. Disbanded.

Platinum - Another guild started by Christov and an ex DoT Commer. We did good, got a few bosses in T5.
But some of our members was lazy, didnt show up for some raids. We always raided with 20-22 people, forcing us to PUG some.
We lost members due to this, and we stopped raiding.
I left because because most DoT Commers who where there when we started Platinum did either quit or leave the guild.
I didn't knew anyone in there after that, so I left with them, in hope to join Bloodpack.

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?
Nope.

Tell us a bit about your history and experiences in WoW. How long have you been playing? Why do you like playing your chosen class and spec? What have you done up to this point in the game?
Well, I started playing WoW in the end of 2006. Started off with a hunter, got it to 10 before I got tired of it. Followed up with every other class, except for a warrior, wich all got to 40.
July 2007 is a month wich should be remembered tho, as that's the time when I started my warrior <3

I really like playing a warrior, they can't be compared to any other classes IMO. I like their ability to tank just fine and do some quite nice DPS aswell in a raid. I love the high damage output with the right group setup :p

I can't really explain why I like it. It just fits me, kind of.

Even got my warrior through T5 and most of T6, wich I never believed would've happened. Giving me such a rush <3

Raiding

How interested are you in PvE raiding?

Only reason I'm playing this game Smile Arenaz is fun, sure. But I can't do it several days a week.

How much experience do you have with PvE content in the game? (e.g. what raids have you taken part in, do you do heroics etc.)
Cleared everything below T5, 3/6 SSC, 3/4 TK, cleared MH, 5/9 BT. Never got a real chance in TK / SSC as I skipped it when I jumped from a T4 raiding guild to a T6.

Always up for heroics with friends. Never pug them anymore, had some really bad experience with it in my past.

Are you available during our raid times? Can you make all days or only some?
I can make all days. Depends on if you change your raid schedule in Lich King or not.

What PvE-related add-ons do you use?
Big Wigs or Deadly Boss Mods, Omen, OmniCC, Quartz when I'm arms, SCT, SCT Battleshout, I always forget Battle Shouts when I don't use it Razz. Solarian Alarm, Void Reaver Alarm, Xperl and You Fail.

We're a fairly social guild, not just logging on for raid times and then disappearing for the rest of the week. How would/do you fill your playing time when not raiding?I'm mostly PvPing, farming, doing heroics or lvling up my hundreds of alts when I'm not raiding.
I'm always active in gchat, not that I'm filling it up with rubbish only though Razz

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, buff food, oils, and ofc repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses?
Never had problems enchanting / gemming my gear, or getting the food / flasks I need, nor repairs.

How do you feel you can benefit our raid setup?
Well, I'm most likely there for the raid buff and the medium high DPS I can do, either with BF for more raid DPS, if there's enough meleers / hunters in the raid to compensate to my own loss of DPS, or just the usual Battle Shout.

I can play my class, I know it in and out and I always come prepared for a raid, listening to whatever officers or raidleader says, jumping off a cliff if they tell me do.

Additional things to add?
Thought I should tell you a little bit about myself in reallife.
Well, my name's Lars, born / live in Norway. Im currently studiyng to become an electrician, really needed in Norway atm Very Happy
I'm not working, so that shouldn't be a problem when it comes to raiding.
I'm always playing WoW when I've done my "homework" and stuff, Im becoming, if im not already, a nolifer <3[code]
