In-game name: Aiora
Class and spec: Priest Discipline
Armory link:

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?

Im applying BP because i got some IRL friends inside, like Mus, Azi or Roth.. aslo some old friends Smile

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?

I played for a couple of months @ TBC, think some ppl meet me yet.

What previous guilds have you been in, and why are you planning to/have you left your last guild?

Inventory is Full @ Tyrande Server as Alliance, was disbanded becouse were stuck at 10 man content and havent any perspective of improve that, oficiers and some ppl leave onto anotehr guilds. I was discouraged and lots of my friends there spreads into another guilds, so i decide reget my old Aiora.

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?

No i havent.

Tell us a bit about your history and experiences in WoW. How long have you been playing? Why do you like playing your chosen class and spec? What have you done up to this point in the game?

Apart for my old stance in BP, i was playing my warrior in classic and now back in WotLK. Cleared all 10 man content plus OS 1 Drake before disbanding. I choose discipline for be the "new healer specc" avaliable on priest now, also i want to try to maximice and become a good DPriest.

Raiding

How interested are you in PvE raiding?

I play wow for PvE, i like some BGs and hate arenas. So i consider myself an pve player.

How much experience do you have with PvE content in the game? (e.g. what raids have you taken part in, do you do heroics etc.)

Atm whit Aiora im gearing up and pugging Hero's, also improving my skills there. My warrior has "Glory of the hero" archivement so i think i can say that im in 99% knowledge of all heros, also cleared 10 man content and testing some 25. Know the tactics and how to move/react.

Are you available during our raid times? Can you make all days or only some?

I was raiding 5-6 days at week in alliance, and playing 4+ hours at day, now i can consider me a constant and dedicated player.

What PvE-related add-ons do you use?

DBM, recount (for tests), Grid, Pulse and OmniCC.

We're a fairly social guild, not just logging on for raid times and then disappearing for the rest of the week. How would/do you fill your playing time when not raiding?

Normally doing dialys, going ZG for mounts ;P and disturbing Mus for elixirs XD

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, buff food, oils, and ofc repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses?

I consider myself raider atm, got one bag of my inv always full of manapotions, elixirs foods.. and things that i consider usefull for raid.

How do you feel you can benefit our raid setup?

Good atendance, knowledge of tactics, always up for new chanlenges. And i consider myself a skill player.

Additional things to add?

I hope i can be usefull because i consider BP one (or the best) guild where i was, also the posibility of play again whit all of you m8s Smile

Note: armory link of my warrior for curiosity

Aiora.

May I ask, is this a social application or an intended raiding one? There seems to be evidence for both but no solid conclusion.

Consider it a Raider Application, hardcore if u want. I know in past was social due study hour problems, now im plenty of time and i was raider in alliance and wish continue.

Heya Aiora! Sorry for not getting back to you the other night, slipped my mind after that heroic. Straight on to the tough questions..

We run paladin heavy, usually two, often three holy paladin healers in a raid. Pally healers and disc priests tend towards the same niche as far as healing - ie strong single target healing, weak multi-target healing, so up until now we've not really had a dedicated disc priest. One of our holy priests has done a few raids as disc and it looks promising, and in current content aside from malygos/sapphiron the AoE healing isn't so demanding, but down the line when taking six to seven healers to a raid, there's a possibility that having four strong single target healers in a raid while having fewer strong raid healers might not work so well. So - how flexible are you as far as speccing holy if the raid comp demands it?

With 3.1 I believe disc is getting more AoE capabilities (Divine Barrier, improved PoH for ex.), so down the line this may be moot, of course.

To elaborate a bit on Finde's remarks, we're currently not exactly sure how many healers we need in the short and long term, with various healers being affected by real life circumstances. The added complication is that a long term member has been talking about re-rolling to a disc priest for a while now, and the character in question is at the point where it can start gearing for raiding. Disc priests tend not to stack that well I guess (hi weakened soul!), so we need to decide exactly what's going on with him before we can give you a straight answer.

edit; much as we love them, 2/3 of our spanish crew tend to disappear to dinner half way through raids - would you be following the Musgoso "I am sustained by the corpses of raid bosses" approach or the Rohtgar OMNOMNOM must eat at 21:30 approach?

Hi again and dont worries about last night, sure u got lots of thing in mind and a bit tired. Im rolling DPriest because was my "frustrated" build @ 70 in pve enviorement, and you're right about AoE healing issue. As discipline and holy are close similar build so its easy respect change few gems/enchats and maybe some items... also i have in mind that, if im raiding i will use the build that guild stimated better (shadow will requier a bit more gear that im working at, i like have decent gear for all specc avaliables).

Respect dinner and those things, i was being raid leader at spanish server so my behaviour in raids is log 30 - 15 min before the raid invites starts and aproximate to the entrance of the "dialy" raid, selfbuffed whit elixirs/flask and, if posible, start trash pulling for economice the raiding time. I will dinner after or before raid (never in middle excepts the raid leader make a stop enought long for that).

I apologize for the time it spent on making a decision about this, I don't usually like to drag it on.

Anyway Aiora, we've decided to give you a two week trial period, please whisper myself or Rhiannon, or another officer for an invite.
