Why are you applying to Bloodpack?

As some of you might know Rebirth stopped raiding a little while ago and quite frankly i'm getting tired of logging on and doing nothing but standing in Dalaran. Im not the biggest pvp fan as that never caught my interest, PvE is my thing. Bloodpack seems like a very friendly and nice guild and some of the rebirthers applied to here, so i decided to give it a go aswell. I feel though I must be honest with you guys and say that my hardcore raiding days are over and what i mean by that is the fact that after quitting raiding in Rebirth, i can see just how much time i spent on this game and thats why the raid times here would suit me just fine. I'm looking forward to a more relaxed and friendly approach to the raiding, that being said I'm still a competitive player who enjoys downing new bosses and getting the job done in raids and i doubt that will ever change for me in wow.


Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?

I havent played regularly with anyone from Bloodpack, but i guess Screamer and Chrelles would vouch for me even though they are trials. Perhaps Alcador with his penis statue would too but havent asked him yet.


What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave?

As mentioned previously, Rebirth quit raiding and alot of people have either quit or left the server. Just after it was announced that the guild was disbanding I seriously considered quitting aswell, but I'm not done in wow yet. There's still stuff to kill in various ways.


What previous guilds have you been in?

Started my raiding career on Azjol-Nerub in a guild called Dark Crusaders, which were pretty much the best server on the realm on horde side, but internal disputes led to me quitting the guild. After Dark Crusaders me and my brother (some of you might know him as Zoothe) migrated to Anachronos where we joined Rebirth and have been there ever since.

If this is a cross-realm application, should you be accepted for trial, how soon can you transfer here?


Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?

I dont have any other app's out there as that wouldnt be fair to the guild im applying to.


What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?

Outside of wow I work alot and use wow to relax when i get home. Other than work i spend time on friends and i play some basketball aswell (when im not injured).

Raiding

What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week.

Classic:
Molten Core - cleared
Onyxia - cleared
Blackwing Lair - cleared
Ahn'Qiraj - cleared (both instances of AQ)

The Burning Crusade:
Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair & Magtheridon - cleared
Serpentshrine Cavern & The Eye - cleared
Mount Hyjal, Black Temple & Sunwell - cleared (cleared Sunwell pre-nerf too)

Wrath of the Lich King:
Normal Raids - cleared all
Heroic Raids - cleared all


Please list any achievements from a raid environment that you have and feel we should know about.

I have quite a few hard mode achievements done, so wont list them all. The achievements im hopefully going to have with Bloodpack is what matters anyway.

Do you use these following addons?

Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs - DBM
Omen - Cant tank or dps without it
DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers - I use BadKitty which tracks all my timers as both bear and kitty.
Any other addons which you feel should be mentioned?

I used Jumpcounter which was invaluable to me . I use a custom interface with alot of different addons.


With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations?

As mentioned earlier, I already did quite a few of the hard modes, so I'm definately ready to try hard modes.


How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?

I'm an altoholic, might aswell admit it. I like my alts alot and they all got professions i use to boost my main char, so im quite self-sufficient. I do some random pvp too, but I always end up quitting the games because pvp annoys me too much.


Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping
your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?

To be honest I have quite abit of gold, so I dont do dailies anymore except for stuff like cooking daily etc. which helps me get consumables. Other than that i got my alts to gather me the stuff i need.


Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it?

I've been feral through all of my raiding career, even back in vanilla when ferals were frowned upon and I couldnt imagine myself playing as anything else. I tried resto and balance but they just dont stick to me like feral combat has. I gathered some resto and balance gear but i doubt i'll ever get to use it.
I've always been raiding as feral tank as main spec, but I've done quite a bit of dps'ing in Ulduar so I'd like to think that im quite well capable of doing the kitty job aswell. Usually when dps'ing in raids in rebirth i was in Top 8 depending on which fight it was and thats with very few gear upgrades since my new gear went to support my tank spec.


Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples if so.

I browse the official forums and mmo-champion but I've always found that actually trying new things in raids gives a much better idea of what i can improve in my current role.
