Why are you applying to Bloodpack?
Since Rebirth stopped raiding 2 weeks ago i have been thinking about what to do with my WoW-life. I must admit i did consider stopping and try to sell my account, but i do enjoy relaxing with a computer game at night. And there aren't any game that can take WoW's place, you can only play so much Civ4, HoMM etc before they get repetitive. Ofc the social part of a multiplayer game is also a big part of WoW.
While i cant say im looking for a guild that is pushing for world top 50 on rankings like Rebirth did. However i am looking for a guild that does 3-4 raids per week in ulduar and some with alts on off days.
From what i have read about Bloodpack it seems to fit + Chrelles have always spoken well about you. And the last part is just as important, i wouldn't wanna join a guild full of pricks no matter how good players they are.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?
While i haven't asked any of the former Rebirthers in your guild to vouch for me, im sure Chrelles, Screamer and Goblette will give their honest opinion about me if you ask them.

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave?
Rebirth and you know they stopped raiding.

What previous guilds have you been in?
I started back on Runetotem where i was in a couple of leveling guilds. When i wanted to try more raiding i was lucky enough to get invited to Slackers by Evil (admin on Anachronos.eu) at tbc launch Slackers moved to Anachronos. Soon after tbc launch the people that wanted a bit more serious raiding in Slackers formed Ex Infernis, who after a good start lost a few key members. When things got a bit hard, some of the more vocal persons turned quite vicious and i left since i didn't want to be in same guild as them. I was then lucky to be accepted to Rebirth where i have been since then (over 2 years)

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?
No

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?
Up until 2 years ago i used to play sports 3-4 times a week. I played football for a little more then 20 years, but lately i mostly played volleyball and beachvolleyball. Unfortunately my knees and ankles cant take competitive sporting anymore and i cant just play for fun, when i do something i like to do it 100%.

Raiding

What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week.

Classic: Did those with Slackers back on Runetotem as resto
Molten Core y
Onyxia y
Blackwing Lair y
Ahn'Qiraj AQ20 cleared, AQ40 up to, but not including twins

The Burning Crusade: mostly in rebirth as feral
Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair & Magtheridon y
Serpentshrine Cavern & The Eye y
Mount Hyjal, Black Temple & Sunwell y

Wrath of the Lich King:
Normal Raids: Havent done Mimiron, Vezzax and Yogg-Saron. Rest cleared
Heroic Raids: Everything but Mimiron

Please list any achievements from a raid environment that you have and feel we should know about.

Are you available to make our raid times? If there is night a where you can attend some times a month, but not always, please state so.
Thursday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]
Friday = 19:30-23:30 [Y]
Sunday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]
Tuesday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]

Im sure i will have social commitments a couple of times a month, but it shouldnt be a problem in general. And if i cant be there i post about it.

Do you use these following addons?
I use DBM, omen, oRA2 and grid. For timers i use a combination of classtimers and FeralByNight. X-perl for character and target frames. Bartender4 for bars.

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations?
Learning and beating new encounters are whats fun!

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?
Mostly on my alts, either leveling or farming raid mats. Got 6 lvl 80 and 4 lvl 70-73 on account.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?
With my army of alts i dont have a problem keeping Zimira well stocked with flasks, pots and food. And tbh money havent been a problem since i picked up JC on my alt at start tbc.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it?
I havent been anything else but feral since tbc and while all my boomkin set is missing is 2 trinkets + a head piece its not enchanted. However one of my alts are a boomkin so i have a deacent grasp of the mechanics, but on Zimira feral is the spec i prefer and do best.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples if so.
EJ forums are my main source of information. Ofc Rawr is well developed for ferals as well. Theorycrafting works pretty well for cat spec, for Bear tanking its often trail and error to see if more avoidance or more stamina is preferable for specific encounters and tactic used by guild.

Any additional things you'd like to add?
Among my more well geared alts are:
Kanedot Mage mostly in naxx25 gear, he also knows all JC recepies worth knowing (+close to all not worth knowing as well)
Onehorne Boomkin in mostly naxx10 gear, he also knows all Glyphs

While goblette in ulduar mostly improved his Bear gear i mostly improved my cat gear there and quite often got to dps.

Thank you for your application. As you might appreciate, we've only so much room for new members without leaving our current raiders without raid spots too often, and after taking four people on in a very short period of time we're reluctant to take any more. However, with summer around the corner and the possibility that several people will start growing real lives again I'd hate to decline you only to find we're consistently short on melee dps in the next few weeks. Finde and I will discuss this and get back to you shortly.

a: Who trusts a beer pimping paladin anyway? ;-)
b: It was in the middle of the night!
c: If you make a list there really should be more then 2 reasons!

On the other note I understand your hesitation to take in to many and risk sitting people out more then they like. Keeping a guild raiding through summer can also be quite frustrating when people decide to enjoy the weather or go on vacation.

Can only confirm what chrelles already said, Zimira is a nice and friendly guy, who certainly knows his stuff concerning druids.
