What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings? hmm no idea - never had to look because it's never a problem. I have a huge gamers computer with shedloads of everything and a top of the range graphics card. That's about as techie as I get I'm afraid. I lag a little in Dal sometimes but that's in. Never dc'd in a raid due to lag. Run on Virgin 10mb broadband connection

Why are you applying to Bloodpack? Because I want/need to raid. I've been guildless for a week and I am climbing the walls! I know some BP players and I think I believe I will fit in in terms of personality too

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you? Noktus was an officer alongside me in Exodus, and Ochayethamoo/Lezzie I have raided with and spoken to at length

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave? Guildless atm (aww!) previously GM and Officer in Exodus. Left due to unexpectedly becoming GM and hating every second of it. Have utmost respect for how much hard work GM's and officers have to put up in

What previous guilds have you been in? Northern Shadows while levelling, TEAM Fek in TBC which became pretty much the core of Exodus

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with? I have an open app with Cold Logic as at the time BP were not recruiting holy priests. App has been open a week and so far no response even to say app is being considered.

Do you have any high level alt characters? Have you raided with them before? i have some 80's on this realm but do not raid with them, mainly used for profs. I have a 80 on another server in a rl friends guild but play rarely

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game? outside of the game i have a full time job and two teenage children...I have time for hobbies as well as wow? I do some internet dj'g a couple of times a week

If possible, please try to provide a screenshot of your UI in a raiding setting. If you aren't able to get one from inside a raid, a screenshot of it from a battleground will suffice. I don't have one atm as not raiding too much atm - I will take a bg screenie tomorrow and post it here.

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations? oh yessss!

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal? ofc

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding? dailies, grinding mats for pots/flasks etc, levelling alts and helping guildies.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use? with 4 level 80's on the server all with different profs maxxed I am a one woman economy tbh. I use Flask of the Frostwyrm, Haste buff food atm but always have fish feasts on me too and with 3 raid buffs to give I have the worlds biggest supply of black market Devout Candles in the world!

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec? I was a spreist in TBC and went holy for the guild at the beginning of WoTLK and it was the best thing I ever did. I am intuitely a healer. Tbh, it's why I am no the best dps in the world as shadow now because i see peoples health bars and i want to heal. I like holy because of the choice of heals, the group/aoe healing and the ability to adapt healing from tank healing to raid healing, certainly in 10 mans anyways. My current dual spec is a pvp disc but this will go back to a shadow build in the next few days.

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible. I think the T9 4 set bonus for priest is relatively weak tbh especially as Empowered Renew is a seen by a lot of holy priests as non essential and a matter of choice. I've got 2 parts and I am happy with that atm. I am currently stacking haste and I am a couple of percent below where I would like to be on haste and I'm using haste buff food for raids to boost that slightly. I am trying to maintain a balance between my crit and haste. Bearing in mind that up til now I have been mainly 10 man raiding with very often no moonkin in the raid I have had to gear for crit myself rather than assume a crit buff from a moonkin.


Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about. As a holy priest the spells cast obviously depend on the encounter, as mentioned from one week to the other in 10 man I could be raid healing to tank healing so it would depend also on my assignment. Take Ony 25 as an example tho. Usually I PoM, Renew, PW:S and GS the tank as he goes in on Ony - this gives them the time, especially with the back up of GS to gain aggro and position Ony without a whole heap of healing landing on him. During phase 1 I keep up PoM and Renew on the tank (assuming I am raiding healing) and flash heal individual players if needed - tho in phase 1 that's not too much hopefully. It's usually enough tho to ensure I have 3 stacks Serendipty ready for a hasted Greater Heal on the tank if needed. During Phase 2, I am often on the elite add tank, again PoM'g, Renewing and flash healing but also CoH or PoH on the melee group after a flamestrike. Depending on tank Class I would fear ward myself or the tank just before phase 3 and continue with PoM. Renew and Flash healing or CoH groups caught in lava.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so. EJ, Wow.com, plusheal.com, patchnotes for ptr and live patches mainly

What professions have you chosen on your raiding character? How do they benefit you in raids? alchemist for extended flask times and benefits. Tailoring I moved to because Exodus didn't have an active guild tailor, however there are the benefits of Darglow and Lightweave embroidery too

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one. i don't have any I'm afraid
