What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week.

Please list any achievements from a raid environment that you have and feel we should know about.
Tbh im not worried about achivments. Im here for the raid and the raid comes before my personal benifit. I have alot of achievements but so do alot of bad players that pug often so i see this as a question that im not applicable to.

Are you available to make our raid times? If there is a night when you can attend some times a month, but not always, please state so.
Thursday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N]
Friday = 19:30-23:30 [Y]/[N]
Sunday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N]
Monday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N]
Tuesday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N]

I can raid these time 2 out of every 3 weeks due to my working shifts. I will be online tooled up and ready to go every night of those 2 weeks.

Do you use these following addons?
Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs - DBM as a must
Omen - YUP
DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers - N/A
Grid - YUP
Any other addons which you feel should be mentioned? healbot is nice for a prot pally and also recount helps me as a RL.

If possible, please try to provide a screenshot of your UI in a raiding setting. If you aren't able to get one from inside a raid, a screenshot of it from a battleground will suffice.

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations? That in a nutshell is why i am here.

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal? Not a problem

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding? I work on rep, i have a few alts that i like to lvl and i enjoy helping other players that need help.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use? I always make sure that i have a full stack of Stone blood and endless rage if im needed as dps. I keep fish feasts in my bag as wel as frost wrym flasks for ppl that need them. I also keep other personal food buffs stocked up at all times as well as most regents for a raid.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec? I have duel spec, Prot/DPS. Im very familiar with both specs but i Like to tank as it gives me a real kick. I like the fact that it makes me know the full range of mechanics for a fight and make sure im up to date with all the up and coming patches and ot bosses that blizz like to spring on us.

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible. For example, a combat rogue might reply:

"A lot of the tier 9 quality gear has a lot of armor penetration on it. As I've been fortunate enough to obtain an armor pen trinket (mjolnir runestone), I am well within reach of the armor penetration soft-cap. This means that I have enough armor penetration from gear that when my trinket procs, my total armor penetration reaches 100%, thanks to 45% from the trinket proc, and 55% on my gear. So I gem enough ArP to keep myself at this soft cap, and then gem agility in most other sockets, which is worth more DPS after the soft cap. With my current gear, for yellow sockets with worthwhile bonuses I use agility/crit gems, but in the future, with the relatively high crit/low haste on t9 gear, it may well become more worthwhile to use agility/haste gems, especially on encounters that favour double wound poison.

If I were not running a Mjolnir setup, I don't yet have enough ArP from gear that it's worthwhile gemming for ArP, so instead I'd stick to agility unless I gain some more ArP gear."

I currently gear to be a nice blend of mitagation and aviodence. It works great with the tank that i pair with in the guild im in as we are both selfless with regurads to who does what. We dont have a MT/OT set up so this system works well and we have gotten some great progression from it. I would very much like to build both sets in full so that i can adapt to any setting that you could put me in to. A challenge is what im here for after all Wink

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.

I use a standerd 969 rotaion as a prot pally but i like to keep the rota open as i feel alittle bit of motion can make or break a raid if things go wrong. Im a very adaptable player and i have a good range of macros that i use to help the raid and myself when it comes to taking damage. For example i have a great little macro that pop's devine sacrifice with devine protection and also both my trinkets. This enables me to take 40% damage off the raid for 10% intake plus a huge reduction via the trinkets so basically im free and single. I can soak that damage up for free and help everyone via that small little button. It's things like this that make me an overall player and a great raid member. I come from a DPS background so im aware of the cloth/plate restrictions of other classes and when they are about to get into trouble, I know when they will/wont pull agro and i am always 1 step ahead if needed.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so. Wowheros, elitist jerks, mmo, and any other forum that i can find to help with my rota/threat/dps improvment.

What professions have you chosen on your raiding character? How do they benefit you in raids? I have 450 mining and 450 BS. I have some great BS plans to help any plate class including ULD plans for tanking and healing. Plus the 60 stam buff from the mining is nice as well but im thinking of moving to JC.

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one. N/A

Any additional things you'd like to add?

I have run a guild for over a year that has done some great things. They have cleared most of Uld and ToC under my leadership and are bound for great things. I am a very expierenced RL becuase of this but im looking to step back alittle from this and just enjoy becoming a tank again. I want to find great progression but without the problems of fighting numbers and players that want a quick foot on the ladder every night. I know you guys are not really after another pally tank but i can asure you that im not just another pally tank. Im keen, knowledgeable, well geared and dedicated. I work hard to get the gear and XP that i have and i make sure that i never have to tank an encounter that im not already prepared for. Im looking to you as a way to push myself further in this game and reach the raiding environment that i'd like to be in. I understand after doing my research that you have a very nice attitude to raiding and thats what it really is all about to me, a nice place to kill bosses. I have suffered abit in raid progression as i have been trying to run this guild for over a year so i have been held back alittle. The time has come for me now to push further into the content that im ready for and im hoping that i can find a place in your guild to help you.

You have missed the upper part of the application template;

Name(optional):
Age:

In-game name:
Class and spec:
Armory link:

What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings?

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave?

What previous guilds have you been in?

If this is a cross-realm application, should you be accepted for trial, how soon can you transfer here?

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?

Do you have any high level alt characters? Have you raided with them before?

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?

I'm afraid we're not looking for another tank at the moment, best of luck elsewhere.
