Personal
Name(optional): Michelle Pedersen
Age: 19

In-game name: Sichelle (Only one I could get close enough to my own ^^)
Class and spec: Paladin, Holy 51/2/18, Protection 5/56/10.
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kor%27gall&n=Sichelle

What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings? I usually play with a Framerate that swings between 55-60 fps. My pc and internet connection is reliable, I got a 15 Mbit/download and 1Mbit/upload connection. My average latency is around 120-154 ms.

Why are you applying to Bloodpack? I am applying to bloodpack because I have been following your progress for quite some time now through my horde character, Mezrah. And I have heard so many good things about your guild and guild members. Besides your progress is really impressive! I am applying because I want to join your ranks and show you what I am made out of and what I am capable of doing.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you? Sadly I haven't been playing with any of them..

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave? I am currently not guilded.

What previous guilds have you been in? I have always made sure too keep my Alliance Paladin with in the top 10 Alliance guilds on Kor'Gall. I have been in the all-danish guild, Cravens. I left it after a few month when I found out that I really didn't like being in an all danish guild like so.. I then joined the guild named "Widgets and Wizards" It is with them that I got the most of my raiding experience, and I also had a lot of fun with them. I left them when I felt that my education were going on a sidetrack because of late night raiding. They supported my wish and right since then I have been guildless. And of course I got my school back on the right track now.

If this is a cross-realm application, should you be accepted for trial, how soon can you transfer here? Right away. I got the money and I have told all my friends that I am thinking of transfering.

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with? no, I do not.

Do you have any high level alt characters? Have you raided with them before? I have my level 80 Death Knight, Mezrah. Have only been doing heroics with him.

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game? I really enjoy being together with my girlfriends (and Boyfriend!) and then hit the town for a really fun evening and night. I'm really good at spending my money on cloth, but also good at keeping enough money for other things, like server transfering :b And of course I like to work out at the fitness center.

Raiding

What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week..

Classic:
Molten Core - None (at level 80)
Onyxia - None (at level 80)
Blackwing Lair - None
Ahn'Qiraj - None

The Burning Crusade:
Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair & Magtheridon - Cleared
Serpentshrine Cavern & The Eye - SSC, Cleared. TK 3/4.
Mount Hyjal, Black Temple & Sunwell - MH, 4/5. BT, 8/9. SWP, None.

Wrath of the Lich King:
Normal Raids -
Naxx: Cleared
Sarth: Cleared (+2 Drakes)
Malygos: Cleared
VoA: 1/3
Ulduar: 1/14 (Thorim)

Heroic Raids -
Naxx: Cleared
Sarth: Cleared (+2 Drakes)
Malygos: Cleared
VoA: Cleared
Ulduar: 12/14

Please list any achievements from a raid environment that you have and feel we should know about. Sadly I don't have any to show off. Perhaps you would like to help me? :b

Are you available to make our raid times? If there is a night when you can attend some times a month, but not always, please state so.
Thursday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]
Friday = 19:30-23:30 [Y]
Sunday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]
Monday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]
Tuesday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]

I can easily make the raiding times.

Do you use these following addons?
Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs - I do.
Omen - Yes.
DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers - Got it.
Grid - Yep.
Any other addons which you feel should be mentioned? Always ahve my good ole' Decursive and pallypower with me everywhere.

If possible, please try to provide a screenshot of your UI in a raiding setting. If you aren't able to get one from inside a raid, a screenshot of it from a battleground will suffice. https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img35/5269/wowscrnshot072509080925.jpg
(Just ignore the guild name. An alt of the guild, Loot FTW needed people to sign his charter for even more Loot FTW alts so I decided to sign it for him. (Loot FTW, as in the top 10, best guild in the world, yes))

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations? I don't mind doing that at all, I always make sure that I know the encounters before I try them, I even know the tactics for the 3 first bosses in ToC, didn't bother learning Anub'Arak and twins since I haven't tryed any of them yet.

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal? Sure, I don't mind.

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding? Farming, questing, chatting and enjoy my stay.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use? It is no problem at all for me, to have enough money and food for a raid. I typically use Flask of the Frost Wyrm and eat/drink Firecracker Salmon.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec? I have chosen my particular spec and class because I have always been a big fan of being a raid healer. I enjoy healing and I suppose that is about the only thing I am good at in-game Sad I believe that I am very familiar with my class, I'm mostly in the top 4 healers in a 25 man raid and almost unnoticable on the overheal meter. I would be willing to respec but as it is right now I only got half a tank set and zero retribution gear, sadly. And yes, I do have dual-spec.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples if so. Yes I do. I usually use homepages like: Mmo-Champion, wowwiki and the official boards.

What professions have you chosen on your raiding character? How do they benefit you in raids? I have Blacksmithing and Mining as my professions, and they are both fully skilled. I am considering changing my mining to jewelcrafting. I just want to make sure I have gathered enough Ore's so that they won't be a problem once I have to skill it. Otherwise I can benefit with my Blacksmithing since I have the Ulduar plate healing recipes and the Ulduar plate tank belt recipe.

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one. I am sorry but I do not. I'm not sure how the homepage works and I think the data is too old about now.

Any additional things you'd like to add? I do indeed know that this is a horde guild, but with the upcoming Faction change I decided to make an application and try out my luck. I hope you enjoyed reading my application. Feel free to ask as many questions as possible. I love answering them as long as they aren't mean! Smile

Kind Regards, Michelle.

Thank you for taking the time to apply. I'm afraid that until Blizzard actually timelines the European faction transfer service, it's a little bit too up in the air to make real plans around, so for now we're going to put this on hiatus. As soon as Blizzard comes out with a solid date, we'll re-visit this application and our holy paladin situation and go from there. I don't want to mess you about too much, so feel free to look elsewhere in the meantime, though I'd appreciate if you keep us informed if you do find another guild before then.

Ok, bringing this back as Sichelle (now known as Seriena) has expressed interest and is now on Anachronos horde side.

My first question - how have you been occupying yourself in the last month and a half since the initial application?

Hello Rhiannon.

I have been really busy trying to find work. Which as always is a living hell once you turn 18+ and don't have a finished education yet. So no luck in finding a job yet.
I have been talking a lot with my school councilor now that I after 3 months at my current school found out I were going the wrong Direction, that I actually wanted to go. So I am about to change school in the start of the new year and will be attending a school where I work 5 days a week and gets a weekly payment.
You probably didn't need or wanted to see all that which I wrote above but it is very important as for what I will be talking about now.
I know my gear is nothing special and I do not have either ToC10 or ToC25 achievement yet, but I have been so busy lately with finding a new school and looking for work.
And now that my big problems are gone I thought I would re-open my application to Bloodpack to show you that I am determined for the position of one of the Holy Paladins within your guild. I believe and being told from some of my friends that I am a good paladin and I want to prove that right!
I have tried looking for pugs and such just to get the feeling but the groups usually fell apart and I never made it with in the instance, so the only chances I have had was reading up on some tactics which seems useless without the experience itself.
So one of the first friends I made on Anachronos, YĆ³umo, made me the Sunforged Breastplate so I at least had one item at the item level of 245.
I really hope some of what I said made sense, otherwise I am ready and willing to elaborate on it all!

Kind Regards, Michelle :-)

Best of luck sorting out your real life situation out, hope it works out for you. With this in mind, are you still going to be able to commit the amount of time needed to raid with us?

Since you initially applied, I've added a few questions to the application template. I'd appreciate if you could go through and answer any questions that weren't in the initial template, specifically regarding gearing strategy, and spell selection in raids.

Gear Strategy:
My Gear Strategy is basically, stacking intellect and Spell Power now and then.
I don't mind going for mail if I have to. Either if it is for yet another piece with an extra socket or more intellect than on mail. At my current gear situation I am very close at hitting 25k mana unbuffed, and with 2157 Spell Power following it's own way.
As such I don't really think I have much else to add to my Gear Strategy list. Of course making sure to get items that also deals some haste and once in a while crit. But back to the Intellect part. I prefer my trinkets to be Intellect only, but so far I have only managed to get the +90 Intellect, Darkmoon Fair trinket, but it seems to work for me, so far.

Spell Rotation:
Seal of Wisdom: I always make sure I got this one up before I start a fight so I get the reduced spell cost by 5% with my Glyph.
Beacon of Light (Usually on Main-Tank or Off-Tank. Differs from the target I have been assigned)
Sacred Shield: on Main Tank. Refreshing it when there is about 10-15 seconds before it runs out.
I believe I spam Flash of Light and Holy Light equally much, but in the right order so I won't waste mana on what seems like 3% hp if the needed raid member is only at 97% (Occurs some people gets to the target faster than others)
Judgement of Light: Refreshing it everytime it runs out. A great raid healing, a little weak but.. it gets around and heals a good bunch of people.
Holy Shock: I usually only use it in tight situations but, it occurs I also throw it up now and then.

I hope that answered some of the questions you had for me, Rhiannon. Otherwise you can always come up with some more for me!

Thank you for now!

Kind Regards, Sichelle (Michelle).
