With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations? Yes i am.

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal? Yes

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding? Doing dailys

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use? Yes i am able to support the raiding expenses and i use buff food, flasks and potions.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec? Because i can get the most dps out of it, i Know my class very well, I would be willing to respec if i have to and I do have dual-spec

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible. For example, a combat rogue might reply:

A lot of the tier 9 quality gear has a lot of Spell Power on it. I use spell power for my gems as it gives me the most damage. i also gem crit aswell to make my damage crit a lot and high. i also have JC so i have the 39sp gems to increase my damage even more.

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.

well my rotation is force of nature > Starfall > Faerie Fire > Insect swarm > moonfire > wrath > * when eclipse procs Star Fire

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so. Well my friend told me my rotation and the other resources

What professions have you chosen on your raiding character? How do they benefit you in raids? I have chosen JC and Mining to get the 39sp Gems to increase my damage

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one. I don't have access to one.

Any additional things you'd like to add?
Nope sorry.

I don't really understand some of your gemming and gearing choices. 25 sp + 2% int is a terrible meta for any dps class, 21 crit + 3% crit damage being the meta of choice. On the one hand you say SP gives you the most damage, on the other gemming crit. Seems like you don't really know what would be best to gem. As a boomkin you need only 10% hit, and yet you have 13% and are running a hit trinket. 18 spirit on boots?

You happen to be over the haste soft-cap for moonkin, but you made no mention of it or its importance, which suggests it's more by luck than design. Could you define the haste soft-cap and explain why it's important? Could you also explain why haste past the soft-cap is of less value?

The moonkin dps priority system is a bit more elaborate than you described. Could you have another go please, mentioning both the lunar and solar eclipse parts of the cycle, rather than just eclipse.

kk my rotation Force of nature > Faerie fire > moonfire > insect swarm > wrath till lunar eclipes procs > starfire till solar eclipes procs > wrath

A lot of the tier 9 quality gear has a lot of Spell power on it. As I've been fortunate enough to obtain an haste rating trinket that also gives me hit rating so i am over hit caped(Elemental focus stone), I am well within reach of the haste rating soft-cap. This means that I have enough haste from gear that means i need a new trinket. So I gem enough Sp to keep my damage up with my spells, and then gem Crit in most other sockets, which is worth more DPS after the soft cap. With my current gear, for yellow sockets with worthwhile bonuses I use SP/hit and to get rid of my hit trinket

also i have now change my meta socket.

But what is the haste soft cap? How much haste, and what does being at the soft cap actually mean? Crit is worth more than haste past the soft cap, but SP is worth more than both haste and crit at all times, so gemming for crit other than with SP/crit gems to get worthwhile socket bonuses doesn't make sense.

PS: boomkin gear in general, regardless of tier, has lots of SP on it. You don't really need to point this out.

PS: boomkin gear in general, regardless of tier, has lots of SP on it. You don't really need to point this out.

Let me elaborate:
The haste soft cap (this is not a hard cap in the slightest) is in place and generally accepted because after 400 haste the GCD (global cooldown) of wrath is affected while Nature's Grace is up. A normal boomkin should see an uptime of Nature's grace at about 50% (probably more). What happens is: while Nature's Grace is active (assuming the druid has approximately 400 haste) the wrath cast is faster than the 1 second global cooldown of all spells. This means that each wrath cast, will actually take longer to cast than the Nature's Grace buff suggests. In effect, lowering your dps as a whole. Now this is of course, assuming you are using a Lunar based rotation.
So when using the Elemental Focus Stone, the proc will often occur during the wrath casting phase of your rotation (about 30%). effectively making the haste buff useless during that time. However an SP proc will always be useful regardless of the timing in relation to your rotation. And when dealing with a randomly procced buff, utility is key.

If you copy paste stuff that is written in a completely different writing style, it's going to stick out like a sore thumb.

You should probably credit this guy if you're going to just rip a whole paragraph from his post without ensuring it makes contextual sense.

If you don't know this basic stuff and have to search mmo to find other people's words to plagiarise, I'm afraid we're not the guild for you. Declined.

PS: your meta's not active, need two blue gems. And putting a purple gem in a yellow socket with a 5 sp socket bonus...
