Personal
Name(optional): Martin
Age: 21

In-game name: Labros
Class and spec: Warrior, prot
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Anachronos&n=Labros

Are you the original owner of the account/character you're applying with?
Yes

What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings?
The framerate is around 30. I have a tendency to get DC'ed sometimes when entering toc 10/25, but only while entering - not when i'm inside. Other than that, my connection is fine, average latency is aroun 150, allthough i can't feel any lag while playing (except in WG ofc, but who doesn't lag there? Smile)

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?
I have been raiding a lot all the years i have played wow, but have had a raid-break for some while now, and i'm starting to miss it. I have been in the army for four mounths, and during that time, i was in the guild Fate, because the people i useally play with had joined that guild, and had intentions on joining them as a raid member. It turned out i couldn't do so, because i have to work on wednesday in evenings (to 2015). All this brings me to you - I believe you are just the guild i need to get myself going with the guild raiding again

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?
Nope

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave?
I feel i stated that two questions back Wink

What previous guilds have you been in?
I have been in quite a few over the years tbh, but the most recent guilds are Made (guild disbanded), Legion of mulgore (guild disbanded) and Fate.

If this is a cross-realm application, should you be accepted for trial, how soon can you transfer here?
I'm on the server as it is

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?
I do not, but i'll keep scouting, as i could see you aren't looking for any prot warriors atm.

Do you have any high level alt characters? Have you raided with them before?
I have my priest (holy) and warlock. The priest is naxx geared, and don't rly play on it. The warlock i turned 80 with recently. It is my first char ever made, and it used to be a human, untill 1-2 mounth ago. It was with that char i raided MC, BWL, ZG, AQ20/40 and naxx (in classic). It was also this char i started raiding with in TBC, and switch to my undead rogue some mounths in (the rogue is now 71).

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?
Not that many tbh. I was some series, hang out with friends and get drunk ofc Smile

Raiding

What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week.

Classic: ZG cleared, MC clear, BWL cleared, onyxia cleared, AQ20 cleared, AQ40 cleared except z'thun (or whatever the last boss is called) and did about two wings in naxx as far as i remember.
Molten Core - done
Onyxia - done
Blackwing Lair - done
Ahn'Qiraj - almost done

The Burning Crusade:
Karazhan, Zul'Aman, Gruul's Lair & Magtheridon - Done on rogue (except ZA)
Serpentshrine Cavern & The Eye - did a little of both, but had to cut down on raiding at that time due to school
Mount Hyjal, Black Temple & Sunwell - Never been there

Wrath of the Lich King (excluding commonly pugged content):
This is all done on my warrior as prot:
Naxxramas 25 - Done
Malygos 25 -Done
Ulduar 10 - Havn't done that much here. Have only had one propper run, where we got to Auriaya
Ulduar 25 - not done
ToC 10 normal - cleared
ToGC 10 heroic - not done
ToC 25 normal - done till twins (in fail pugs)
ToGC 25 heroic - not done

Please list any achievements from a raid environment that you have and feel we should know about.

Are you available to make our raid times? If there is a night when you can attend some times a month, but not always, please state so.
Thursday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N] I'm working 1600-2015 on Thursdays
Friday = 19:30-23:30 [Y]/[N] If there's a party, i'm going to it (RL > wow), else i'm game
Sunday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N] Y
Monday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N] Y
Tuesday = 19:30-22:30 [Y]/[N] Y

Do you use these following addons?
Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs - DBM is a good friend of mine Smile
Omen - Got it
DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers - nope
Grid - nope
Any other addons which you feel should be mentioned?

If possible, please try to provide a screenshot of your UI in a raiding setting. If you aren't able to get one from inside a raid, a screenshot of it from a battleground will suffice.
I screwed somethings up with the pic - couldn't get one on

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations?
Hell yeah - That's the fun of raiding Very Happy

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal?
If it's needed for the guild to progress, yes.

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?
Arena, alts, getting money and generally joking around

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?
I believe i can keep up with the expenses. I normally just pop a flask and eat a fish feast, but if more is required i will provide ofc.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec?
I have dual-spec, and it's set up as a arms pvp spec. I Would much prefer to stay prot (mostly because my dps gear sucks dunkny balls), and also because i enjoy tanking more. I can't rly say why i have chosen to be a prot warrior - i just tried it, like it and stayed that way Smile.

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible.

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.
I'm using shield slam as much as posible, while keeping thunderclap and demoralizing shout up, using revenge when posible and devaste when rest is on CD.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so.
I do not

How do the professions you've chosen benefit you in raids?
I have BS, so i can get an extra socket on my hands and bracers.

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one.
I don't have such a thing

Any additional things you'd like to add?.

Since i'm not likely to join a newly formed guild, or a guild that is just starting up on raiding, it might take me some time to find one, so if you find that i could be usefull for you, but not at the pressent time due to you being full on tanks, pleace keep me in mind for later use Smile

You're logged out on armory in your pvp gear and spec, so we can't really look at your prot gear. Regardless, we're not in need of any tanks at the moment, so we're going to decline you. Thanks for the application, good luck elsewhere.
