What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings?
In 25 man raids I usually have a framerate between 20-60, depends on which fight it is. I have never had problems with my connection (15 mb, shared between 2 people). Latency is popin around 100-150.

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?
I am applying to bloodpack, as I am looking for a new hardcore raiding guild, who aim to make their goals and kill the new content blizzard comes up with.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?
I hope either elmax, sanakthe or wiggerlywoo.

What is your current guild and why are you planning to leave?
Cold logic, I did not leave cold logic but we ended up disbanding.

What previous guilds have you been in?
Dot Com, was my start raiding guild where i got into raiding, and i started to feel how it was to be a part of a progressiong hungry community, in the early summer 2008 we disbanded due to the GM quitting.
Now i had to find a new guild, i were searching for a hardcore raiding guild, and decided to apply for the 2nd best guild on Anachronos cold logic, and got a spot as holy.
I've been a part of cold logic for 1 year and 7 months, but few days ago my GM gave the announcement that we were disbanding.
Cold logic is a guild which i loved to be in, great people always up for a good laugh, still progress and take raiding seriously.

Yes I do have, with an alliance guild named “epiphany” at Twillight’s Hammer.

Icedrain my mage havent raided alot with this char when ICC arrived, used to raid with it for lolz in toc 10. Last I got my shadow priest Puup, where I am leading raids for my RL m8s in my brothers guild “lol guild”.

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?
I do not play other games than Wow, only when I am at lan parties I play either CS or Dota with RL m8. Otherwise I usually try and go out, and be a bit social together with friends.

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations?

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal?
Yes ofcourse, if it benefits to kill the encounter by taking another person go ahead!

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?
Either I am lolin’ around in dalaran, tossing around on Vent with my RL m8’s and raiding ICC 10 with them or doing arena. Last of all homework.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?
Usually bring 40 Flask of endless rage.
50 potions of wild magic.
40 Dragon Filet
Yes got around 50.000 gold lying around for repair bills !


Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec?
I have chosen to play a paladin as I leveled it as an alt, and was asked to change main to be the main healer of DoT com. Loved playing holy for a long time, but got boring in the end, and wanted to try out “facerolling like a baws” and smash some bosses in da face. Got the permission to go retribution in the early start of WOTLK, and loved it ever since.
Holy have been main spec, so pretty much into it, as I also play it in pvp.
Of course I will be ready to respec if needed.
Dual-spec was about the day it came out.

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible.

As a ret paladin I am stacking strength for the most benefit for my attackpower, as attackpower benefits my abilitys the most. Of course I need to be aware of being hit-capped(8%) and expertise capped(26 – 6,5%), which must come by the gear. (by that I mean I will not gem for it). Through gear Haste is a very important factor as it effects my haste of my weapon, melee damage/white hits is the 2nd top damage for a ret paladin or for me at least it has.

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.
When I engage a fight I will be following the following “rotation” it is more likely a priority list. But I will be following this very tight throughout the right. Such as well trying to use divine plea, at about 50% to keep myself top up on mana, and not try and risk it too much and go oom.
1- Judgement
2- divine storm
3- Crusader strike
4- Hammer of wrath>
5 – Concencration
6 – Exorcism
7 – holy wrath (Only using this at packs with more than about 5-7 mobs and upwards, otherwise it is a mana loss)

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so.
Only thing I can think of is probably “Elitis-jerks”, where I read up about the new changes if there have been such. I always test out the information I gather from Elitis jerks to see if it effects my damage in the right direction.

How do the professions you've chosen benefit you in raids?
Enchanting – ring enchants for the more attack power as possible.
Engineering – I have chosen Engineering for the nitro boots as I found it very use full to get quick out of “FIRE” as an lol example, as everybody joke about how easy PvE (move out of fire..GG)
But I am thinking about changing this for Either Inscription or Jewel crafting. For benefiting my attack power.

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one.
Cold logic have not used WWS-logs since Ulduar, so I am afraid I will not be able to give a link of it.

PS - your gemming's a little sub-optimal, at t10 level gear usually it's worth gemming strength/crit in yellow sockets if the socket bonus is worth at least 4 str per gem. And the agi ring is sadly better than the str ring for ret due to poor itemisation on the str ring (the extra crit outweighs the extra ap in this case, check rawr or one of the spreadsheets on EJ for confirmation). And your nightmare tear's in a weird place (could have picked up 6 str on weapon).

Your glyphs are also a bit weird, did you glyph holy wrath to work on a specific encounter? Consecration glyph is still superior DPS on most fights due to a) fewer clashes, higher uptime and b) lower mana consumption.

The gems has been sorted. Ring been changed aswell.

My holy wrath glyph, might be a bit weired, but been useing it for anub hardmode, for the interupting on shadowstrikes. Will change it for concencration glyph shortly.
