- I am applying to bloodpack as every top end player does; to raid and progress.

- I am leaving my current guild as I would like to progress. My server is quite dead for recruitment and it makes it hard for us to recruit highly skilled players. We are the number one guild on our server and were originally top 500 EU minimum.

Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs - I use DXE/VBM combination, but can switch back to DBM if ya need it.
Omen - I use a lightweight single figure addon for threat management.
DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers - yeah sexycooldowns
Grid - Heavily modified yes.

To defeat a hard encounter it may sometimes take 50-100 wipes. I can handle this and my concentration shall not dwindle.

Synergy is most important in the harder encounters; sitting out if the synergy required is does not include my class is understandable on all levels.

When I am not raiding, I fulfill my dailies, get gold etc. (I currently have 24k or so.)

Typically I use flask of the frostwyrm, potion of speed/wild magic and any seasonal increases aswell as fish feast (which I usually end up deploying for the rest of raid)

I have dual spec, I play with specs all the time, playing fb, ffb, or arcane are all the same to me

Strategizing Example

As every fight is different, I will give the example of Lich King (yeah thats right im giving an example of a boss I havent even killed yet ).
In phase 1 of Lich King typically you will have 2 tanks spread apart from each other. As a mage, the only important thing to remember is to move when you have to so you can get dispelled and not deal mass damage. It is important (from my experience) to save clones and haste cooldowns until the first add spawns in phase 2 and therefore assist on DPS with the first one that spawns. The rest of that phase is pretty Zzzz as a mage. Phase 3 You move to the center (slightly off center), and you can pretty much just stack on the tank. Doing so means all the Valkyr that spawn after about 20 seconds or so will move in the same direction, shortly after that usually comes demise(wisely named by blizzard) which rapidly spreads a black void over the whole room if you don't move out of it which in turn wipes the raid. Now if I had engineering id probably move out of it with the speed use you get however I dont so id probably just blink anywhere on the outer ring apart from in front of the valkyr's because i assume that would be good when trying to dps them down before they steal your players (I mean you dont wanna be dropping your players for a long flight). After this fairly simple phase comes phase 4; Phase 4 is basically the same as phase 2 so lets skip this part. Phase 5 consists of the whole raid moving back in to the center but spreading instead of stacking. Pretty simple phase really; nuke the adds before they own us and spread. Move if needed. After this phase a wipe is practically impossible. Welldone you win the internets.

Maximising my DPS

There are many viable specs and each spec dependent on every fight. I will explain arcane seeing as this is the most commonly used and has the most insane burst damage. The basic mechanics are to stack to 4 then burn on proc. this doesn't really change much the only other things to consider are when you use your potions of speed; such as using is before you are in combat to get extra dps and not using it just as a boss goes out of range or becomes untargetable.... common sense etc. Timing your cooldowns for dps increases etc is important. For example if you get bitten third You have enough time to pop your cooldowns after the first bite for the majority of them to be off cooldown for when you get bitten.

- both of these are of course viable as a raider (although I admit they aren't the most dps boosting or technically advantageous than choices like jewel crafting or engineering
