With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations? of course

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal?

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?
farming/pugging

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?
flasks of stoneblood mostly, always got several types of flasks with me anyway

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec?
Dual-specced Tank/dps (prot/ret): know them very well (also frequently reading elitistjerks/maintankadin etc to see what changed etc)
Can respecc if needed ofc, but got my mind on my MS

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible.
My gearing up comes hand in hand with how the options improve my input, stamina/str/avoidance without having a cap-failure as a result.

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.
As a pala tank, ofc I use the 69696 rotation cycle, which allows to have a more then sufficient threat ratio. got macro's to take over aggro from other tanks in fights where that's asked (saurfang, festergut fight fe.) meh, even though it's all automatic, clcret is still up just in case.. actually I could go on for ages about this, but let's say I never really got in trouble due to my own stupidity

I'm a bit unclear what you're looking for from this app. Your stated availability is way below what we're looking for from a raider (80% attendance, so 4 out of 5 raids per week), which would suggest looking for a social spot, but you do answer the raiding-related questions. I'm afraid we can't really accomodate someone who's after casual but regular raiding, we're quite a bit more hardcore than when you left us. Anyway, we're not looking for any more tanks at the moment, so going to decline this application unless I've missed the point somehow. Long time no see though!

It's correct I can't attend to raids at the rate you guys expect (indeed you've been way more hardcore), so my application indeed would be more for a social spot.

You prolly understand that the first door I'm knocking at is the one horde-guild I played a fair amount of time with, and had a lot of fun with.
