Name(optional): Anders Olsson
Age: 31

In-game name: tritosh
Class and spec: MM - 7/54/10 or 7/56/8
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Anachronos&cn=Tritosh&gn=Bloodpack

Are you the original owner of the account/character you're applying with?

Yes

What framerate do you generally play at in 25 man raids? Is your PC and internet connection reliable? What's your average latency to the game servers during evenings?

I just bought a new computer (built it myself). Haven´t had the slightest lag so far anywhere on highest video settings. Connection is stable as well.

Why are you applying to Bloodpack?

As you may have seen, I have been a social in the guild for a couple of weeks, since I just came back from a one year break. Most of my wow friends are in bloodpack now, and the guild itself seems well organized with alot of friendly people.

Have you played with anyone in Bloodpack before, who might vouch for you?

There is quite a few former rebirth members that I´ve played a huge amound with. Goblette, Zorik, Trones, Tanku, Attacker, Screamer, Nirilka, Coragio, Drasp and Kazak. Maybe forgot someone, excuse me if I did.

What previous guilds have you been in?

First I was in Eternal Corpse Council on the veknilash server, guild disbanded and the I moved to Stormscale to a guild called Nemesis. We then changed name to Adult Swim. That guild also disbanded during the Sunwell era. Then I got accepted into the guild rebirth on Anachronos, which I was in until about a year ago, when most of the guild decided to take a brake.

Do you currently have any pending application with any other guild? If yes, who with?

No

Do you have any high level alt characters? Have you raided with them before?

I´ve never been very intrested in alts. I have an 80 DK in rebirth which I raided with a bit, but I never made an effort to learn how to play it properly.

What interests and hobbies do you have outside of the game?

Training in all forms, movies, golf, board games, instrumenal and game music, classical guitar: https://www.youtube.com/user/tritoch21#p/u/4/w2cEcOdVJZQ (a few pieces on youtube for the fans Very Happy )

Raiding

What is your past raiding experience in the game to date? Please only include content that you cleared at the appropriate level cap - we're not interested if you cleared AQ 40 last week.

All of them on farm

Do you use these following addons?

Deadly Boss Mods / Bigwigs / DXE, omen

Deady boss mods and omen

DoTimer or some other sort of spelltimers

omniCC

With blizzard adding optional "hard-modes" to future encounters, we're intending to beat the more difficult version of each fight, not just the basic version. Are you prepared to spend the time re-learning encounters to beat them in their hardest incarnations?

Yes indeed

Are you prepared to sit out if an encounter requires a certain raid composition for which you are not ideal?

Yes

How do you fill your playing time when not raiding?

Right now it is pretty much to do as it is, but otherwise I usually do some dailys and gather raid supplies.

Raiding's not cheap. Flasks, potions, buff food, and of course repairs all cost money and time, and so does keeping your gear gemmed and chanted properly. Are you able to support your raiding expenses? What consumables do you typically use?

I´ve got loads of gold, so money is not a problem. For consumables I use Hearty rhino, Spiced mammoth treats, Powerful Rejuvenation potion, Runic mana potion, potion of speed and Flask of Endless rage.

Why have you chosen your particular spec/class? How familiar are you with your class' other specs? Would you be willing to respec if the raid required it? Do you have dual-spec?

The best dps specc has changed alot as time has gone by. When I first started playing back in the tbc days Beast mastery was the top dps specc. When I started raiding in adult swim and later on in rebirth a survival hunter was a good addition for the raidwide expose weakness debuff, so I played that. Especially in Sunwell were you really had to squeece out every drop of extra buffs to progress. During the start of WOTLK, they removed the nice raidwide expose weakness talent from the survival tree, marksmanship got buffed and I played that during most of the early instances. Then when Ulduar was released, Surivial became superior so everyone changed to that. Nowadays, marksmanship is back in the top.

All in all, I´ve played every specc alot and I have no problem to change if it would be neccesary at some point. My dual specc is also marksmanship, but with a little twist.

What is the general gearing strategy you follow for your class? Please be as specific as possible.

Try to replace the least good items first, best gems possible (atm it is armor penetration all the way). Always be hit capped.

Please give a brief description of how you go about doing your job in a raid. What's your DPS cycle/priority system if you're a DPS? What spells do you use in what situations as a healer? How do you go about maximising threat whilst minimising incoming damage, as a tank? What more is there to tanking than those two aspects? Use a particular boss fight as an example if it will make it easier to talk about.

For deepz: Kill shot, serpent sting, chimera shot (with silencing shot and kill command macroed into it), aimed shot, steady shot. Also arcane shot if I have to move but not otherwise. I always start off with a misdirect and is ready to feign death if I crit too hard in the start. Try to fire off rapid fire, call of the wild, blood fury and readiness asap, to maybe have it up again later in the fight.

As survivability: Always keep an eye on the environment, be ready to use disengage to move around fast. Always be ready to launch a freezing trap if some add gets loose. Be ready with deterrance, healthstones and pots.

Do you use external resources (such as 3rd party forums, spreadsheets, simulations) to research your class and spec? Give examples, links, and commentary if so.

http://elitistjerks.com/f74/ is the main site when there are changes made in the game. I also like to browse the top guilds forums, like ensidia and paragon class forums.

How do the professions you've chosen benefit you in raids?

LW - good for some recepies that drops, although they are usually too expensive in the start of a new instance. Bracer enchant AP make up for it.

JC - Three solid gems are always good.

Please provide a recent combat log parse (e.g. WWS, WMO, WoL) of your character in a raid environment if you have access to one.

I have none, the rebirth wws has expired.

Any additional things you'd like to add?

If I get a chance you know what you get. I am a loyal, hard worker and always try to do my best.

I can genuinely say that Tritosh was in fact a very good hunter and he seems to have kept up on class mechanics etc.

But besides that he was a great and friendly guy.
